Which Maltese Activist Group Should You Join?
Moviment Graffitti

You give us hope! The world in general and Malta in particular needs individuals like you. Your heart is certainly in the right place. You are socially aware, ethical and genuinely wish to change the world to better. You understand that the challenges the world is facing today stem from the unjust socio-economic system that is neoliberalism. You deserve our applause, hugs and a few pints of beer.
Il-Kenniesa

Whether your willingness to join activism is inspired by genuine concerns or you simply want to propel your family back to power (and, naturally, keep the Labour Party away from government), your understanding of corruption is limited and superficial. Yes, corrupt state officials must face justice, yet the PL and 'tasteless bogans' are not the major cause of the challenges that Malta and the world are facing at the moment. Unfortunately, you are reluctant to understand that corruption thrives in societies where the population fails to hold the elites accountable due to their dependency on personalised sources of power and social inequality. So, unless you address the concerns of Malta's disadvantaged population, call for a fair corporate taxation, demand increasing of the minimum wage and campaign for abolishing private schools, this activism will remain what it is—a rage of sidelined elites. Our advice: try harder!

You are mature enough to understand this. Our advice: try harder!

Your care for the environment is admirable. Yet, clean-ups alone will not save the planet. We need to address the major cause of environmental degradation—the socio-economic system which is obsessed with economic growth and which prioritises profit over social and environmental responsibility. And so, before getting involved into environmental activism, have a look at the topics like 'post-growth', 'degrowth', 'waste reduction' and 'circular economy'. Please remember that social equality is the key requirement for building an eco-responsible society. The research has established a strong correlation between social equality and environmental sustainability. Good luck!

You are not an activist 🙁

Crash! You've just broken our heart 🙁 Words fail to describe our disappointment! The world is up in flames, yet you decide to look away. Worse even, you choose to blame 'foreigners' for all social and economic ills. Please understand that the challenges the world is facing today stem from the unjust socio-economic system that is neoliberalism. It is not too late to change the world to better. We hope you will join us. Together we are stronger!
